WHAT TO EXPECT AT EVERY PERFORMANCE
At Speakeasy Murder and Other Acts of Prohibition, we set out to reinvent the murder mystery experience from the ground up. The result is something far more immersive, polished, and welcoming than audiences typically expect from the genre.
From the moment you walk through the doors, you are stepping into a hidden world inspired by 1920s New York. Live jazz fills the room. Cocktails flow. Gangsters, flappers, bootleggers, and socialites move through the crowd as though the speakeasy has always existed and you somehow discovered it.
The evening takes place inside the intimate Teatro Martini, where every table is positioned to keep guests connected to the action throughout the night. With limited seating, the atmosphere feels personal, energetic, and alive.
At your table, you’ll find clues, secrets, and stacks of bribe money that can be used to interact with the characters if you choose. Some guests dive headfirst into the mystery. Others simply sit back and enjoy the ride. There is never any pressure to participate, but the world around you is always within reach.
No two performances end the same way. The audience helps shape the outcome of the evening, meaning every show unfolds a little differently depending on the choices, suspicions, and votes inside the room.
Designed for guests ages eight and older, the experience balances comedy, mystery, atmosphere, and suspense in a way that feels exciting without losing its family friendly spirit. The content is best compared to a PG 13 film.
This is not simply dinner and a show.
It’s two hours inside a living story filled with secrets, laughter, music, suspicious characters, shifting alliances, and a murder waiting to be solved.

Every Adult Ticket and Jr. Detective Ticket includes a complete three-course meal, freshly prepared and served directly to your table by our attentive waitstaff. Tucked just south of International Drive and just east of Sand Lake Road, in the shadows of the Universal Studios neighborhood, The Speakeasy Murder hides inside the Pirates Dinner Adventure complex. Slip through the black iron gate beneath the glowing “Teatro Martini” marquee, approach the speakeasy door to Jewel, and give a discreet ring of the bell. When the door cracks open, lean in and murmur the password: “Tuna Tar Tar.” Say it like you mean it… and step into the night where secrets, suspects, and cocktails await.
